House in Iasi | Copou | Romania | 2019
I have developed a concept design for the rooftop of a residential building in Iasi, Romania.
The design encompasses a range of innovative and cutting-edge ideas that are tailored to maximize the potential of the rooftop space while also enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal of the building. I have considered various factors, including safety, functionality, and sustainability, to ensure that the design is practical and environmentally responsible.
The roofing system in place is composed of lamellar wood, a type of wood engineered for increased strength and durability. This type of wood is known for its ability to withstand harsh weather conditions and resist rotting, making it an ideal choice for roofing structures. Its composition also allows for greater flexibility in design, making it a versatile option for various architectural styles.
