Wood has always been a traditional building material providing inspiration for artists, architects and engineers throughout history.
In the 20th century, pavilions were established as experimental architecture. They shaped up the future architecture more than permanent buildings, because they gave architects the posibility to materialize new concepts very fast. Due to their small scale and short life span, pavilions are used to test new technologies without high construction costs and long-term cultural impact.
For this pavilion, the design process was developed at 3 different levels: MATERIAL, STRUCTURAL and SPATIAL.
